Application Instructions

1. Basic treatment
Walls must reach a solid, flat, dry “baby skin” state. Any imperfections will be magnified by the texture of the art paint.

2. Apply alkali-resistant sealing primer
Reinforce the base layer to prevent alkali return and unify water absorption. For dark art paint, a primer of the same color is usually applied.

3. (Optional) Apply colored mid-coat paint
If necessary, first roll on a layer of latex paint that is similar to the main color of the art paint as the base color.

4. Art paint main material construction
There are many methods, such as:
Scrape: Use a spatula to scrape paint onto the wall to create a smooth or random texture.
Roller coating: using special rollers to roll out various textures
Spraying: Use a spray gun combined with blowing, scraping and other techniques to create effects
Template: Use a template to print a specific pattern
Many effects require multiple moldings, layer upon layer.

5.Protective layer construction
Material: Typically a specialized water-based or solvent-based topcoat (matt, gloss or satin).
Function: Waterproof, stain-proof, scrub-resistant, enhances abrasion resistance, and improves final luster and texture.
