Water-based Rust Converter Primer

Water-based Rust Converter Primer is a high-performance, eco-friendly primer formulated with modified acrylic resin and advanced anti-corrosion pigments. It can be applied directly onto lightly rusted or untreated metal surfaces without the need for mechanical rust removal. The coating provides excellent adhesion, salt spray resistance, and corrosion protection, effectively isolating the metal from moisture and oxygen. It’s fast-drying, easy to apply, and ideal for a wide range of metal substrates.

Application Scenarios

Application Instructions

1.Surface Preparation: Remove dust, grease, and loose rust; ensure the surface is clean and dry. Light rust can be painted directly; heavy rust should be mechanically cleaned.

2.Application: Apply by brush, roller, or spray after thorough stirring.

3.Thinning: Add 5–10% clean water if needed.

4.Coats: Apply 1–2 coats with a dry film thickness of 40–80μm.

5.Drying: Touch dry in 30 minutes, hard dry in 4–6 hours (at 25°C).
